JOHN WRIGHT , MY DAD WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM ME ON THE 4TH OF AUGUST 2008 DUE TO LUNG CANCER.ONLY 58 YEARS YOUNG AND DIAGNOSED LESS THAN A YEAR AGO. HE LEAVES BEHIND MYSELF AND 2 YOUNG CHILDREN FROM A LATER RELATIONSHIP, . HE LIVED IN SELSTON NOTTINGHAMSHIRE THOUGH DIED IN RIPLEY HOSPITAL DERBYSHIRE WITH ME BY HIS SIDE.
MY DAD WAS THE JOKER , THE GUY EVERYONE LOVED . HE ENJOYED A DRINK WITH FRIENDS OF WHICH THERE WERE MANY , FRIENDS AND DRINKS THAT IS.
SMOKED MOST OF HIS LIFE AND EVEN LUNG CANCER WASNT GOING TO STOP HIM ALTHOUGH BY THE TIME THE CANCER WAS FOUND IT DIDNT MATTER ANYWAY.
HE WAS THE MR FIX IT OF THE AREA AND NOW WE ARE ALL DREADING WHEN WE BREAK OUR TV OR THE IRON STOPS WORKING CAUSE MY DADS NOT HERE AND HE COULD FIX ANYTHING.
MY DAD WASNT JUST MY DAD HE WAS MY BEST FRIEND. HE WAS A FANTASTIC GRANDAD TO MY 2 KIDS AND I MISS HIM SO MUCH RIGHT NOW.
THERES A HOLE IN MY LIFE WHERE HE SHOULD BE AND NOTHING I DO SEEMS TO FILL IT.
HIS PAIN IS NOW OVER AND FOR THAT I AM GRATEFUL BUT IT WAS A CRUEL DISEASE AND TOOK A MAN WHO HAD SO MUCH LEFT TO DO ,WAY TOO SOON.

PENNIES COME FROM HEAVEN THATS WHAT MY NAN TOLD ME. SHE SAID ANGELS TOSS THEM DOWN TO SHOW THEIR LOVE FOR THEE.
MY NAN SAID WHEN AN ANGEL MISSES YOU THEY TOSS A PENNY DOWN.
SOMETIMES JUST TO CHEER YOU UP. TO MAKE A SMILE OUT OF A FROWN.
SO DON'T PASS BY THAT PENNY.
WHEN YOU ARE FEELING BLUE. IT MAY BE A PENNY FROM HEAVEN THAT WAS TOSSED DOWN JUST FOR YOU.
so sorry for your loss, always in your heart, never far away
For just a moment
I'm sure I saw
a flicker of light ahead.
Perhaps it was your smile.

God Bless and RIP John. My sincere condolences to all the family. My husband (Terry GTS) also passed from cancer in Jan this year a few weeks before his 58th birthday, and I know the pain and suffering that we all go through especially the loved one who has gone. My heart goes out to you all. Jean xx
